Christine Mechtly
Acting Administrator for the Rural Housing Service
Christine Mechtly started her career in federal service in 1991 as a staff accountant with the Farmers Home Administration in the Finance Office. She has served in a variety of leadership positions throughout her career, including the Deputy Administrator, Customer Service Center, the Director, National Financial and Accounting Operations Center, and the Director, Servicing Office. Christine was appointed Deputy Administrator, Single Family Housing in August 2024.
