USDA-RD Rural Development Invests $3 Million to Construct Rose Hill FD

ROSE HILL, N.C., May 23, 2022 – USDA Rural Development State Director Reginald Speight participated in an announcement ceremony for the new fire station in Rose Hill today. 
Rural Development is investing $3 million to construct a new fire station for the town of Rose Hill.

The new 14 thousand square foot facility will include:

•           Five apparatus bays for emergency service vehicles

•           Training room

•           Bunk quarters

•           Offices

•           Residential kitchen

“As Rose Hill grows so does the obligation of its first responders,” said Speight. “USDA is standing beside this community to assist with its growth. Our investment into this municipality will help equip them to answer the call when the time comes.”
