Bozeman, Mont., Nov. 9, 2023 – U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development in Montana State Director Kathleen Williams announced today an investment of more than $820,000 in grant funding to generate economic development and advance equity in Montana’s rural and Tribal business communities.
Investments will impact Appanoose, Audubon, Carroll, Clayton, Crawford, Decatur, Fremont, Greene, Grundy, Guthrie, Harrison, Jackson, Poweshiek, Sac, Union, Van Buren, and Washington counties
Investment includes $13.6 million for lead pipe remediation

WASHINGTON, Aug. 24, 2023 – U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development Acting Under Secretary Roger Glendenning today announced that USDA is making more funding available for meat and poultry processors to expand operations, transform the food supply chain and create new and better markets for producers.
This funding advances President Biden’s commitment to grow the economy from the bottom up and middle out by creating good-paying jobs and opportunities in every community.
