Acting State Director for South Dakota
Hally Witte is the Acting State Director of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development in South Dakota. Before being appointed to this role, Hally Witte served as the Associate Director for South Dakota, providing administrative, human resources and fiscal support to Rural Development programs. Other positions held during her ten years of federal service include Management and Program Analyst; and Purchasing Agent for Rural Development in South Dakota.
Prior to joining federal service, Hally worked in healthcare administration and in human resources and accounting for a regional utility provider. She graduated from the University of Sioux Falls in 2015 with Bachelor degrees in Organizational & Business Management; and Project Management. As a lifelong resident of South Dakota, Hally understands and appreciates the needs of rural communities. She is committed to providing exceptional customer service and helping those in need.
