Cheryl Ducharme

Acting State Director Cheryl Ducharme is also the Business & Industry Cooperative Programs Director for USDA Rural Development - VT/NH. Her career in the Agency began in 1994 as a Housing Programs loan technician, then transitioned in 2007 to a role as Energy Coordinator under the Business Programs division. Prior to joining the USDA, Cheryl worked in commercial banking with a lending focus on farmers and agricultural concerns in rural Vermont. Cheryl and her family have lived for 30 years in the heart of Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom.
