On October 11, 2020, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development finalized its structural realignment of its Multi-Family Housing programs. As part of this transition, the Rural Development staff who had previously provided assistance on specific topics or supported individual properties has changed.

The Field Operations Division is responsible for maintaining local relationships through regionally-organized servicing teams. This division handles all day-to-day servicing of Multi-Family Housing properties to ensure that tenants have safe and affordable housing. We encourage our Multi-Family Housing program funding recipients and partners in Oregon to reach out to the new Western Region Director to build upon existing partnerships and forge new ones.

Contacts for Funding Applications and Transactions in Process
If you need information on a loan transaction currently in process, or if you have questions about a new transaction, our new Production and Preservation Division processes, underwrites, and closes all Multi-Family Housing direct, preservation, and guaranteed loan transactions. This division supports all our Multi-Family Housing Programs, including the Section 515 Multi-Family Housing Direct Loan Program and Housing Preservation and Revitalization Program, Section 538 Multi-Family Housing Loan Guarantee Program, Section 514 Farm Labor Housing Program, Housing Preservation Grant Program, prepayments, technical assistance, and preservation efforts. This division also oversees notice of solicitation of application (NOSA) drafting.
